Chemical Assessment: Knowing Where to Begin
If you, a family member, or someone you know is struggling with substance abuse, a chemical health assessment is a good place to start.
With a Chemical Assessment, we’ll give you a recommendation on what level of care your loved one should receive, and advice on where they should go for treatment. We will also coordinate with your insurance and the treatment center you choose to make sure everyone is communicating properly and working together on an effective treatment plan.
How it works
Also known as an “evaluation,” or a “Rule 25 Assessment", a chemical dependency assessment is a diagnostic evaluation, performed by a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor, to determine whether a person suffers from an alcohol or drug dependency. The results of the evaluation are then prepared in a written form. The written evaluation is often used to determine the appropriate level of care for a person to receive substance abuse treatment by your insurance and helps your loved one get approved for admission at a treatment center. Chemical Assessment is an easy service for people who are seeking help, and a great place to start if your loved one recognizes there is a problem and is willing to seek help.
